This policy explains how www.torenajewelry.com, operated by Yiwu Mingpai Technology Co., Ltd. (义乌市铭派科技有限公司) ("TORENA"), uses cookies and similar technologies. Read it together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What Cookies Are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device so it can recognise the device on your next request — for example to keep you signed in, or to remember what is in your order list. 'Cookies' below also covers similar technologies such as browser local storage.
2. What We Actually Use
TORENA runs on Shopify. The cookies set on this site are the ones Shopify needs to operate a shop, plus a small amount of local storage the theme uses. We state this plainly because it is short:

As at the date of this policy, this site does not run Google Analytics, Google Ads, the Meta (Facebook) pixel, or any advertising, retargeting or cross-device tracking technology. We do not sell or share your browsing data with advertising networks, and we do not operate a mobile app.
If that changes — for example if we add analytics or advertising tools — we will update this policy and, where the law requires consent, ask for it before those cookies are set.
3. Managing Cookies
Every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies. The controls are usually under Settings → Privacy. If you block essential cookies, the site will not work correctly: you will not be able to stay signed in or keep an order list.
Because we do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies that require consent, this site does not display a cookie consent banner. If we introduce such cookies, we will add one.
4. How Long Cookies Last
Session cookies are deleted when you close the browser. Persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them; Shopify's expire between one day and two years depending on their purpose. The preferences the theme stores in your browser remain until you clear your browser data.
5. Do Not Track
There is no agreed standard for how sites should respond to 'Do Not Track' browser signals, and we do not currently respond to them. Since we do not run tracking or advertising cookies, there is nothing for such a signal to switch off.
6. Changes
We may update this policy. Changes are posted on this page with a new 'Last updated' date.
